Kelsey Weinstein

Musical Theatre by Blood; Actor by Choice

Hailing from Denver, Colorado, I was practically born into the world of musical theatre. Raised by a stage manager and a music director, there was no stopping me from singing and dancing (even in inconvenient places). After moving halfway across the country to pursue musical theatre full time, I fell in love with the world of TV & Film. Determined to tell as many stories as possible, I strive to make every character my own and to make the world a little bit brighter through song, dance and laughter.

Musical Theatre runs through my veins, but film and television is in my heart. Both are what motivate me to create. They make me believe in magic, and the power of storytelling. We are surrounded by stories, but the magic won’t exist if these stories aren’t told.

“Kelsey Weinstein Plays the easily rattled but eager maid Edith, who turns in a little gem of a comedy performance.” -

“And in a runaway star turn, the role of Edith is played by Kelsey Weinstein, the eager to please but terminally inept maid. Edith may not please her mistress, but she more than pleases the audience. She is a comic gem, whether moving at a self-conscious snail’s pace, or uncontrollably racing in or out of the room.” -

Carrie The musical (Studio school Los Angeles)

Kelsey Weinstein plays Sue Snell, the lone survivor of the massacre at the Prom. She tells the story through police interrogations as well as the story playing out live. She realizes the error of her ways, and asks her boyfriend Tommy to take Carrie to the Prom, thinking that she is giving her the night of her life.

“Kelsey Weinstein does a hysterical and fun performance as Scuttle the seagull. Not quick with the wit or smarts, Kelsey is clearly having way too much fun as she teaches Ariel about the humans. She also shines as he she sings with such style and energy in her song “Positoovity”. It was my favorite dance number that Alison Boole choreographed to include a very sharp and well-staged tap dance number. Kelsey is what made this number so much fun to watch!” - Lorenzo Marchessi
